Our Contribution

At House of Finn Juhl, we are dedicated to making a meaningful impact in society. Our commitment extends across three key areas, where we celebrate Danish culture, invest in our local community, and support the NGO LittleBigHelp. In each of these domains, we are actively working to create positive change and contribute to the well-being of individuals and communities, both locally and globally. Celebrating Danish Culture & Heritage

We are proud to share and protect Finn Juhl's Danish cultural heritage through our presence in over 45 global markets. We actively take part in exhibitions, publications, lectures, and events that showcase Finn Juhl's work and promote Danish design culture and heritage. As an exporting company, we contribute to Denmark's economy through paying taxes and foreign exchange earnings. Additionally, by generating Danish employments, we play a role in supporting our nation's cultural heritage.

The rights to Finn Juhl's designs are held by the Wilhelm Hansen Foundation, and all royalties from the sales of Finn Juhl furniture are dedicated to this foundation. The foundation supports the performing arts, including music, dance, theater, and furniture design. Each year, it presents the Finn Juhl Design Award. The main objective of the foundation is to support performing artist by granting awards and scholarships to individuals and projects. Through our royalties, we help sustain and enrich Denmark's cultural heritage within the performing arts

Supporting the NGO LittleBigHelp

We proudly support LittleBigHelp, an NGO founded by Lisbeth Johansen in 2010. The organization works to improve the lives of people in India who lack essential human rights, access to healthcare, and educational opportunities. Each year, we raise funds for LittleBigHelp through the sales of our Council Chair Series and by donating furniture for auctions. House of Finn Juhl is a part of OneCollection A/S. The Council Chair series is designed by the Danish design duo Kasper Salto and Thomas Sigsgaard and is featured in our contemporary collection under the OneCollection brand.

LittleBigHelp has established 10 community centers in the slum areas of Kolkata and Howrah, boy's and girl's homes, skill development centers for women, and computer training projects in rural areas of Bankura. Additionally, LittleBigHelp supports a center for special education for 180 children. With 90 local employees in India and two in Denmark, LittleBigHelp is actively engaged in the efforts and is dedicated to making a positive change, one project at a time.
