Packaging & Waste Management

We are firmly committed to reducing our waste and promoting the use of more sustainable materials in our operations. We focus on efficient recycling, systematic waste reduction, and responsible packaging practices that prioritize product protection and ensure safe delivery of the furniture. By carefully sorting and reusing materials like textiles, leather, and cardboard, we extend their lifespand and usage while minimize waste.

RESPONSIBIITY

Waste Management

We are committed to systematically reducing the amount of waste generated from our production processes. For instance, we carefully collect and separate textile and leather waste, ensuring that it can either be repurposed, used in smaller products, or passed on to other businesses that can incorporate it into their production, thus extending the lifespan of the materials.

In our offices, warehouses and production sites, we also work to reduce our residual waste and sort it into as many fractions as possible. We are particularly focused on reusing and recycling cardboard, as this is our biggest waste component.

RESPONSIBILITY

Packaging

Ensuring our furniture arrives safely is crucial, as any damage during transit not only results in the waste of materials, labour, and transportation resources but also requires restarting the production process.

Our packaging is designed to ensure all furniture arrives at their destination in perfect condition. We prioritize using responsibly sourced materials, such as FSC©-certified cardboard from responsibly managed forestry. By using as few different materials as possible, we make recycling easier while reducing the need for adhesives and foam.

We are always exploring new packaging solutions, including finding smarter methods for packing our furniture and materials to further reduce our environmental impact.
