Justice, Equity, Diversion & Inclusion
We work to create a workplace where everyone has equal opportunities to contribute, develop and be heard. We actively work to reduce bias in our recruitment, create an inclusive working environment and ensure respect for people – both within and outside the company. We continuously follow up on our efforts through employee surveys and concrete action plans.
Circular Economy & Environmental Impact
In our production, we use certified wood wherever possible and set requirements for responsible sourcing, particularly for materials such as wood, leather, wool, textiles, metal and foam. At the same time, we focus on durability, repair, recycling and reuse. We continuously monitor our energy, water and waste consumption and work with our suppliers to strengthen environmental considerations and responsible practices throughout the value chain.
Danish Design, Craftsmanship & Cultural Heritage
We collaborate with foundations, cultural institutions and the design community, supporting artists, promoting Danish design and helping to preserve skilled craftsmanship and jobs in Denmark. At the same time, we openly participate in relevant societal and industry discussions, with a focus on social and environmental development. Our work is based on dialogue, transparency and a desire to create a positive impact that extends beyond our own company.
Action Plan with Concrete Emissions Targets
By focusing on long product lifetimes, repair and responsible material choices, we are working to map and reduce our overall carbon footprint. Our factories in Denmark use 99% renewable electricity, and we aim to reduce the environmental impact of transport, increase the share of local production and work with our suppliers on climate initiatives. We continuously monitor our progress and update our targets as we gain better data and knowledge.
Human Rights throughout the Value Chain
We are committed to ensuring responsible practices and respect for human rights throughout our value chain. We continuously identify and address risks related to health and safety, working conditions, discrimination and fundamental workers’ rights.
Grievance Mechanisms
We have an open and safe process where employees, suppliers, business partners and other stakeholders can raise concerns or report problems. All concerns are handled confidentially and without risk of retaliation. We follow up on relevant cases and work to prevent issues from recurring. The Board continuously monitors the company’s social and environmental performance, including grievances, stakeholder input, ESG targets and responsible business practices.
Engagement & Influence
We contribute to the development of legislation when relevant to our business and values. We participate in relevant dialogues and industry communities with a focus on social and environmental development, and base our positions on openness, accountability and reliable data. We are transparent about our positions, do not make contributions to political parties, candidates or campaigns, and have zero tolerance for corruption and bribery. We continuously assess whether the political activities of our partners are aligned with our principles.
