Lampadistis Winery

Nestled on a peaceful mountainside in Kalopanagiotis, Cyprus, Lampadistis Winery continues the island’s winemaking tradition, which dates back more than 5,000 years. Quality is at the heart of the winery, reflected in its choice to furnish the ambient space with pieces from House of Finn Juhl.

The building, designed by Eraclis Papachristou Architects, is intended to blend into the landscape—not only in form but also in scale. It is situated solidly on the slope, expressing both presence and connection to its surroundings. Beneath this structure lies the modern, industrial winery, concealed behind solid, textured walls of béton brut. The industrial machinery inside contrasts with the warm and intricate interior, inviting guests to enjoy wines in a picturesque setting.

At Lampadistis Winery, the choice of 109 Chairs and France Chairs, which can be seen through the open plans and structures, contribute to the interplay between the interior and exterior, enhancing the experience for guests who make their way up the mountain in search of great wine in a remarkable setting.
